These three kimono sculptures by Dutch artist Dinie Nomden bring together distinct silhouettes and worked bronze surfaces. They are offered directly from a private collection built over many years. Ask for the original photographs, dimensions, available documentation and asking price, or arrange to see the works in person. Dinie Nomden works in both painting and bronze sculpture. Galerie T describes a relationship between her painted surfaces and the presence of her bronze works. Here the three kimono forms can be considered together while retaining their own silhouettes, surface texture and details.

About Dinie Nomden

Dinie Nomden works with panels and bronze sculpture. An exhibition announcement for Galerie ’t Arthuus describes the long, narrow panels through which her work became known, and her experiments with successive layers of resin. This layering changes the way the surface and material are experienced. In her bronze work, handmade paper is used in the wax model, giving the cast surface a distinctive texture. Her practice therefore brings together different materials through an attention to their physical structure. Her work was included in a group exhibition at ’t Arthuus in 2023. The available sources offer more information about her methods than about her personal biography; education and birth details are omitted here until they can be verified.
