About Iryna Maksymova
Iryna Maksymova was born in 1991 in Kolomyia, Ukraine, and lives and works in Kyiv. Her practice encompasses painting, mosaics, textiles and sculptural forms. Trained in fine art education and graphic design, she began her professional artistic practice in 2020. The body occupies a central place in her work: she explores it as a site of transformation, inner wholeness and relationships. Her work has been shown in solo and group exhibitions internationally, including at Kristin Hjellegjerde Gallery in London, Circle Culture Gallery in Berlin and Antonio Colombo Gallery in Milan. Verduyn Gallery presents her work in Belgium. The painting offered here is selected from a private collection and is sold directly by its owner.
